This is the first version of our accessibility statement, published on 23 September 2026. Our own team drafted it from the law as we read it on 22 September 2026, and it has not yet been reviewed by a qualified legal adviser. It is reviewed whenever the service changes materially, and at least every twelve months.
The service
This statement covers bicyr.com, the platform site: where you read what the platform is, sign in, read our terms, our privacy notice and this statement, and reach us. It is published in English, French and Dutch. Our events and ticketing service, Cangor, publishes its own statement.
Who provides it
The platform is operated by Pilarres EOOD ("ПИЛАРРЕС" ЕООД), a single-member limited liability company entered in the Bulgarian Commercial Register under ЕИК (UIC) 208702712, VAT number BG208702712, with its registered office at гр. We have not yet determined whether a Bulgarian company selling to Belgian consumers also needs an establishment or a representative in Belgium. If it does, we will publish a new version of this document and say what changed.
What we aim for
We design and build this service to meet the accessibility requirements of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) as Belgian law applies it (Code de droit économique, Book VIII, Title 5). Our technical reference is EN 301 549 V3.2.1, which includes the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We are also working towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which the next edition of that standard adopts.
How the service meets those requirements
— Every page is built from one component library. Every component in it is tested automatically against WCAG 2.1 AA, in the light and dark colour schemes, on every change.
— Every page of this site is also tested automatically as a browser receives it, in both colour schemes, on every change.
— We also measure the published pages as a visitor receives them, at desktop width and at 320 pixels wide, in both colour schemes.
— Text alternatives for images, visible focus, sufficient colour contrast, and interactive targets of at least 24 by 24 pixels are required by the components themselves.
— Colour never carries meaning on its own, and animation honours the reduced-motion setting of your device.
Where we do not yet meet them
Our most recent measurement, on 22 September 2026 on our test site, found no failures of the automated WCAG 2.1 AA checks on any page it measured. Automated checks find only part of the problems a person can meet, and these are the parts we know are not done:
— We have not yet completed and recorded the manual checks with a keyboard alone, with a screen reader, and at 200% and 400% zoom. Until we have, what we say above rests on automated checks only. We expect to record them by 31 October 2026.
— The sign-in page does not show the links to this statement and to our complaint route that every other page carries at its foot. You can reach both from any other page, and by the e-mail address and telephone number below.
— Our other legal documents are published in English only for now, including for French and Dutch readers, and on a French or Dutch page that English text is not yet marked as English, so a screen reader may read it with the wrong pronunciation.
— We have not yet checked the e-mails the service sends against these requirements.

How we keep it this way
Automated accessibility checks run on every change to the service, and a change that fails them cannot be merged. We re-measure the published pages whenever a page changes materially.
If something stops you
Write to info@bicyr.com with "Accessibility" in the subject. Say which page, what you were trying to do, and what happened. We acknowledge within 5 working days and give you a full answer within 20 working days. While we fix a problem, we will find another way to give you the service. You can also call us on +32 485 02 94 23, and ask us to read this statement to you.
If our answer does not resolve it
You can complain, free of charge, to the Federal Public Service Economy (FPS Economy), which supervises these requirements in Belgium (Code de droit économique, Art. XV.18/5). An organisation that defends the rights of persons with disabilities may complain on your behalf (Art. XV.18/6). If you live in another EU country, you can also contact the authority for accessibility in your own country.
